Kwan Citrus Nurseries was established in Kerikeri back in 1994 by Peter & Joan Jurisich.  After 15 years experience of growing citrus and operating packhouses; Peter established Kwan Nurseries to supply their own orchard needs.  It wasn’t long before they started growing grafted citrus for Orchardists and Garden Centres across the North Island.

Fast forward 30 years and Kwan Citrus Nurseries is still a local, family owned business.  We now grow 45 different varieties of Citrus and dispatch in excess of 60,000 trees each year to Garden Centres, Orchards and Nurseries across the North Island.  Kwan Citrus Nurseries is also a part of ISCN (International Society of Citrus Nurserymen) as the National representative. 

From day one our trees have been container grown in Greenhouses.  This allows us to supply high quality ready-to-plant trees year round.  We are specialists in grafted citrus to ensure your trees are true-to-type, disease resistant and will fruit faster.  We do not grow any cuttings!
